How's Your Networking ROI? - Ecademy

With the current economic uncertainty, many business people are looking very carefully at Return on Investment for their networking activities over the coming year.

It's not just the annual fee, but the regular restaurant meals, parking expenses, traffic delays and training costs. The killer is your time - are you getting sufficient business from your networking group to justify your continued membership?

Does your networking group allow you to work smarter with new technology to keep up to date with your team? Irrespective of the networking group or groups you are currently with, perhaps now is the time to start building your own team of referral partners. The ones that are unsuitable can be given the flick as you search for the right mix of business people who are going to be effective members of your team.

It's called DIY Business Networking and it works. Most of us already have a small informal network so all you need do now is to formalise these arrangements and start growing your team.

Continue to Google "Business Networking" so that you can visit various networking groups over a period of time as you recruit team members. Use the latest technology and social media outlets to help you get the best return on your investment.
